Counselling offers a safe, confidential space where you can talk about yourself, about difficult feelings, situations, and concerns, whether they are to do with your life now, or something in the past. The process can help you make sense of how you feel, of conflicting thoughts or problems in your relationships. Your counsellor will listen to what you have to say without judging or telling you what to do. Not only will you gain more understanding of yourself and your life, but most people find that they can begin to take charge of their life and create the changes they want to see. Some find that a short series of sessions is enough to address a particular issue, others choose to work over a longer period on deep-seated or more complex problems.
